Students are asked to choose one story from our workshops to include in our annual student anthology that will be distributed at our student showcase / reception on Friday, April 17, 2026. Beginning in March, students will have the opportunity to choose the story they would like to publish.
We will spend time crafting these stories as a group. Students will have the opportunity to share their stories in a safe and respectful setting. Constructive criticism from peers will help our writers to make improvements to the clarity and flow of storytelling.
Each story should have a beginning, middle, and end and should not exceed 300 words. If a story does exceed 300 words, it must be approved. Students may include drawings, pictures and other supporting art with their stories. Students may also submit short graphic novel reels and poetry. Please ensure all stories subjects do not involve violence, foul language, and are appropriate for all grade-levels.
